How to Get Started
Getting started is straightforward, and everything begins with your first contribution.
1. Start Creating
Choose your format: write a technical breakdown, design a visual, record a walkthrough, or share a thoughtful thread. Focus on what adds value to the Self Chain ecosystem.
2. Share It in Discord
Drop your content in the #community-posts channel. A team member will review and verify it before assigning points and unlocking access.
Make sure you have filled out the application form.
3. Join the Creator Hub
Once verified, you'll gain access to the Creator channels, the Self Chain Zealy board and Galxe, where you can track progress, complete quests, and move up the ranks.
What Self Chain Creators Do?
Depending on your strengths and interests, here’s how you can contribute:
- Break down technical concepts through deep-dive threads, tutorials, or visual explainers (e.g., Chain Abstraction, MPC-TSS, CosmWasm).
- Create educational content for new users and developers, such as guides, onboarding videos, or crash-course blog posts in the form of tweets, podcasts, threads, infographics, videos, tutorials, memes, and articles.
- Design compelling visuals that reflect Self Chain’s identity from motion graphics to UI mockups and other eye-catching visuals.
- Support the community by answering questions in Discord or welcoming new members.
- Translate content into other languages to grow Self Chain’s global reach.
Ranking Up: Creator Tiers
As a Self Chain Creator, your progress is tracked through Zealy and Galxe. Every meaningful contribution earns you points. As you accumulate points, you move up through five distinct tiers.
- Self Scout (0+ pts)
You're just getting started. At this stage, you’re learning the tools, exploring the ecosystem, and making your first contributions.
- Self Initiator (500+ pts)
You've proven you can create with intention. You now qualify for base rewards, community support, and potential merch drops.
- Self Guardian (2,000+ pts)
You're actively shaping the narrative. Your work stands out and helps onboard others.
- Self Commander (5,000+ pts)
You're a recognized leader in the ecosystem, whether through thought leadership, visuals, or education.
- Self Master (10,000+ pts)
At this level, you’re a core voice in the Self Chain community. You may lead initiatives and gain access to long-term opportunities within the ecosystem.
Each tier unlocks deeper access, greater visibility, and new opportunities to collaborate with the Self Chain core team.
